Second Collection: National Religious Retirement Special Collection

They gave their lives in service—now they need your help.

For decades, women and men religious have cared for others, teaching, praying, and serving those in need. Many now face retirement without sufficient savings. Your support ensures they receive the care and dignity they deserve. Let us now offer them the dignity they have so selflessly granted to others. Your generosity today is not just a donation—it's a way of thanking them for their lifelong service. Please give to the Retirement Fund for Religious.

The National Religious Retirement Office (NRRO) aims to:

  1. Raise funds for retired religious;
  2. Help religious institutes realistically assess their current retirement needs and implement planning;
  3. Educate religious institutes to allocate assets realistically;
  4. Develop educational tools, programs, services and resource materials that enable religious institutes to address retirement wisely.

Tabernacles for Papua New Guinea

Daniel Paul Mara - Life Scout-Troop 654

   Project Goal: $4,000

Hi there, my name is Daniel Mara, I am an eighth grader at St. Michael’s school, working towards completing my Eagle Scout Project.

With your help, I plan to raise money to purchase three tabernacles and install them in the Catholic churches in the Diocese of Aitape in Papua New Guinea.

Due to the Aitape Diocese’s limited resources, lack of priests, and geographical challenges, Mass is celebrated once every few months or even years in some cases. The Tabernacles will allow the locals to conduct adorations, to receive the Holy Eucharist regularly, as well as have it available to the sick and dying.

I am hoping we as a community can share our faith through this project, to move mountains.

  THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Bishop Siby Mathew Peedikayil, HGN Aitape Diocese, Papua New Guinea.
